Wenzhou in East China's Zhejiang province launched an online campaign on Oct 26 to invite overseas Chinese and college students from both at home and abroad to share their connections with China via short videos.

The competition was supported by the China International Publishing Group and organized by the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, the China Internet News Center, and the Wenzhou municipal government.

Themed "Tell China's Stories" and "Common Prosperity", the contest entries will focus on unveiling the urban construction of Wenzhou, the city's economic progress, stories of local residents, and the spirit of building a stronger Wenzhou. The entries can take the form of documentaries, feature films, or animated short videos.

Submissions can be made online via the official website of the competition or through email.

The entries will be evaluated by an expert panel and the winning works will be unveiled at the award ceremony. The winning works will also be promoted and showcased via various domestic and foreign social media platforms.
