Ouju Opera, formerly known as "Wenzhou Luan Tan", is a national intangible cultural heritage item with a history of more than 300 years. Its stories were mainly inspired by folklores and historical allusions.
In this episode, Michaela, a South African girl who is studying in Wenzhou, worked together with the camera crew from the Wenzhou Overseas Media Center to learn about the time-honored performance art from opera master Cai Xiaoqiu.
