Iurii Gaidaienko is a Ukrainian scientist who specializes in the field of electromechanical equipment. He came to Oubei sub-district in Yongjia county, Wenzhou, East China's Zhejiang province four years ago.
Gaidaienko, who is currently working as a senior engineer at Yalong Intelligent Equipment Co in Yongjia county, said he decided to work in China as he was attracted by Zhejiang province's developed manufacturing industry. He was also captivated by the county's integration of modernity and heritage.
Since settling in Yongjia, Gaidaienko has picked up several hobbies including dragon boating, taekwondo, and 3D printing to enrich himself in his spare time.
