The Youth Art Sketch Contest, one of over 100 international exchange activities to be held in Wenzhou after the city gained the honorary title of 2022 Culture City of East Asia last year, recently announced its winner list.
A total of 70 works created by young artists from various art colleges and institutions in China, Japan, and South Korea stood out from among 527 works, according to statistics from Oct 31, 2021, and claimed the final awards.
The activity was jointly organized by the Wenzhou culture, radio, TV, and tourism bureau, Tokyo China Cultural Center, and Seoul China Cultural Center.
Wenzhou, a historic coastal city located in the southeastern part of East China's Zhejiang province, is scheduled to host over 100 international exchange activities in 2022 focusing on cultural heritage items, literature, art, sports events, tourism, gourmet food, creative design, and economic and trade cooperation.
