Renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and his family recently signed a business deal with Romeja Group, a multinational company run by Wenzhou overseas Chinese in Italy.
Mario Chen, general manager of Romeja Group, said the company has always been involved in Sino-Italian exchanges and that he is glad to cooperate with the Andrea Bocelli family. He also hopes that the two sides can enhance cultural exchanges between China and Italy.
Bocelli said he has learned that the Romeja Group has achieved remarkable results in both the Chinese and overseas markets in sports and entertainment, wine, and real estate. He expressed confidence that the cooperation with group will be successful.
Bocelli is the famous tenor who took part in the CCTV Spring Festival gala on Feb 11, 2021 and impressed Chinese audiences with his performance of Hold Me and My Sun. The tenor is expected to perform again at this year's Spring Festival gala, which will be aired on Jan 31.
