The provincial government work report proposes accelerating the development of port-vicinity industrial belts in Ningbo, Zhoushan, Wenzhou, and Taizhou, four major port cities in Zhejiang. The belts are expected to become an important growth engine for the province's economic development, a leading area for integrated development of port, city, and industry in the Yangtze River Delta region, and a national demonstration zone for port industry development.
