Four people from Yueqing, a county-level city in Wenzhou, were honored as the "Most Beautiful Zhejiang People", according to local media reports.
The "Most Beautiful Zhejiang People" award ceremony, which was sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Zhejiang Radio and Television Group, has been held for 16 years in a row.
Every year, the organizing committee would honor luminaries from all walks of life in the province.
The four recipients from Yueqing this year are Wu Weiwei, an expert in DNA testing at the criminal investigation team of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Public Security, Yao Yufeng, director of ophthalmology at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated with the School of Medicine of Zhejiang University, Jin Xiaoyang, dean of the Culinary School of Tourism College of Zhejiang, and Jia Sunyong, a professor at the Zhejiang Police Vocational Academy.
