Wenzhou company authorized official Asian Games supplier

iRest, a company based in Pingyang county, Wenzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, was recently authorized by the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 to serve as its official massage equipment supplier, local media outlets reported.

"It is an honor to serve as the official massage equipment supplier of the Games and we will take this as an opportunity to showcase to the world our advanced integration of massage therapy and modern technology," said Zhou Guohai, CEO of iRest.

"We have also been striving to develop customized massage equipment that can not only fit the athletic spirit of the Asian Games but also bring about the best therapeutic effects possible," Zhou said.

"We signed on world champion sprinter Su Bingtian as our brand ambassador earlier this year, which brought us closer to the Games," Zhou added.

iRest is fully owned by Zhejiang Hao Zhonghao Health Products Co, an enterprise founded in 2003 with a focus on research and development, manufacturing, and marketing of massage chairs and equipment.

iRest currently owns more than 300 intellectual property rights and has created brands in more than 20 countries and regions across the world. Its products have also been exported to over 100 countries and regions in Asia, Europe and America.

The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 has attracted 111 suppliers in 82 categories so far, which includes not only world-renowned brands such as Alibaba, Geely, and China Telecom, but also local Zhejiang brands such as Wahaha and Chint Group.
