Qingniao Jiechu, a sports culture communication company based in Lucheng district, Wenzhou was recently listed by the organizing committee of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 as the company responsible for venue landscape design and production.
This is the second time Qingniao Jiechu has won a bid to become involved in the Games. It was previously also responsible for urban landscape design.
Qian Meiyun, Qingniao Jiechu's CEO, said the company's successful organization of the torch relay for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games in Wenzhou helped it secured the bid.
"Being selected to contribute to the Asian Games landscape project is an opportunity for our company to improve in a holistic manner. It will also be an important chapter in the development of Wenzhou's sports culture industry," Qian said.
Qian said that after winning the bid, the company has also won several other urban design and renovation projects in Hangzhou.
As a professional operator of large-scale events, Qingniao Jiechu has in recent years organized a variety of sporting events, including the Wenzhou Marathon, Taizhou International Marathon, Cangnan Western Economy Zone International Half Marathon, Zhejiang Super Marathon Relay Race, and Taishun Red Ancient Road Cross Country Race.
