The Grand Barony Wenzhou in Ouhai district is a designated hotel for athletes participating in the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.
Opened in September 2020, the hotel features a neoclassical architectural style that combines classic elements with modern concepts, making it a landmark in the Ouhai district.
Featuring 779 guestrooms, Grand Barony Wenzhou is the largest five-star hotel in Wenzhou. The hotel has a comprehensive selection of commercial and recreational amenities, including a banquet hall that can accommodate 1,500 people, a café and bar, a gym, meeting rooms, and a swimming pool.
The hotel is located near transportation hubs and is a three-minute walk from the Ouhai High-Speed Railway Station.
Chen Jungan, a Rui'an (a county-level city administered by Wenzhou) native who returned to his hometown from Italy, invested 700 million yuan ($109.9 million) into the construction of the hotel.
