Wenzhou in East China's Zhejiang province recently rolled out a three-year plan (2022-24) on constructing a digital economy cluster zone, local media outlets reported.
The zone's core area will be built along the Oujiang River, while supporting areas will be built in the districts of Lucheng and Ouhai, cities of Yueqing and Rui'an, and counties of Yongjia, Pingyang and Cangnan, as well as the Oujiangkou and Southern Zhejiang industrial clusters.
The plan also develop Wenzhou's digital economy industrial landscape by focusing on internet of things, embedded software and industrial software, cloud computing and big data, network communication, intelligent computing, metaverse, new-generation electronic materials and components, integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and digital cultural creativity.
