Two cultural venues in Wenzhou were recently included in the first batch of 23 education bases promoting the spirit of scientists in Zhejiang province.
In May 2021, with the approval of the China Association for Science and Technology, the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology selected the former residences and memorial halls of six famous scientists born in Zhejiang province in an effort to promote the spirit of scientists.
So far, about 1.2 million students from primary and middle schools in the province have been taken to these education bases to learn about the moral and professional integrity of scientists, which is important for the development of the sci-tech industry and social progress.
