Wenzhou, Huawei deepen cooperation in cutting-edge technology

Chinese technological giant Huawei and Eye Valley in Wenzhou, a coastal city in East China's Zhejiang province, unveiled a metasight innovation center for the health industry on June 26, local media outlets reported.

The center was a result of cooperation between Huawei, Wenzhou's Longwan district government, and Eye Valley. It will bring better resources to the global eye health and optical industries, promote clinical research, product development, standard setting and industrial certification fir the health metasight industry, set up a technical validation and product sales center in Wenzhou, and help Eye Valley develop a large number of technological manufacturers and listed companies.

Jin Yuzhi, president of Huawei's optical product line, thanked the Wenzhou government for its long-term care and support for Huawei's development.

"The center is a result of cooperation between Huawei and Wenzhou and a good start for the two sides' future cooperation in artificial intelligence and intelligent networks," Jin said. "I hope the three sides will take advantage of the center to learn from each other and work together to create a new industrial landscape."

Metasight, a new concept in the era of the metaverse, is based on LED semiconductors while integrating technologies such as intelligent control, remote clusters, internet of things, 5G transmission, high-definition video, and glass-free 3D. It is aimed at meeting the demands of the business, sports, travel, entertainment, and urban planning industries so as to provide users with professional products and scenarios.
