Wenzhou is also actively promoting Chinese culture to foreigners living in the city.
For example, by motivating overseas students and teachers, Wenzhou students studying overseas, overseas Chinese associations, and overseas Chinese schools, Wenzhou has set up a promotional team of 320 cultural officers and 500 volunteers and developed a number of cultural promotional brands. The city has also encouraged domestic and overseas children born in the 2010s to take part in the child-friendly city development campaign, inviting them to record and interpret Wenzhou's efforts from their own perspectives.
