A Nobel Prize Digital Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Research Center, the first of its kind in China, was also unveiled at the conference. The center aims to address the problems encountered in the development of the digital economy and carbon neutrality, as some of them may have global implications.
"The center is of great significance to China as the country is entering an exciting new era in the digital economy. I look forward to returning to China as soon as possible to witness the rapid development of its digital economy," said Paul Bailo, professor at Columbia University and an expert on digital transformation.
The conference was organized by the China Software Industry Association, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, and Wenzhou Municipal Government.
