Gisborne, a port city located on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand, covers an area of 8,331 square kilometers with a total population of about 45,800 people. It has many tourism attractions and developed timber processing and animal husbandry industries.
Wenzhou and Gisborne developed sister city ties in July 2019.
