Perversi Simone, from Milan, Italy, married a woman from Wencheng, a mountainous county administered by Wenzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, several years ago.
Simone used to travel between China and Italy on business trips. He moved to Wencheng with his wife and two daughters in 2018 and has since then started a foreign trade company selling products from the two countries.
Simone regards Wenzhou as his home away from home, as he can enjoy some familiar flavors at European style restaurants, bars and cafes, partake in outdoor exercises amid picturesque landscapes, and enjoy a weekend getaway with his family in the quiet and comfortable mountains.
"I'm enchanted by Wencheng's beautiful mountains and rivers," Simone said.
