An exhibition of 100 photos of nature, people's lives, and the art of Wenzhou, China and Pecs, Hungary opened in the Chinese city on Oct 24, local media outlets reported.
The event is being attended by photographers and photography enthusiasts from both places.
Fifty works from Wenzhou show the city's natural landscapes, folk customs, intangible cultural heritage items, urban life, history, and personal and cultural exchanges. They interpret the city's development from various perspectives.
Wenzhou and Pecs, which both boast unique cultural deposits, have been recognized as model cities of East Asian and European cultures, respectively.
The exhibition was part of the 2022 Culture City of East Asia activity series and will run until Oct 28. The Wenzhou culture, radio, TV and tourism bureau, foreign affairs office of the Wenzhou municipal government, and Wenzhou public diplomacy association were co-organizers of the event.
