Secco, whose booth is located in a humble corner of the food and agricultural products venue, has attracted hundreds of foodies with its mouthwatering Spanish ham.
"My company was founded five years ago, the first year the CIIE was held," said Zhou Jianguo, chairmen of the Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Spain. "Over the past few years, I strongly feel that Spanish ham has been growing in popularity among Chinese consumers."
Among the nearly 500 ham manufacturers in Spain, Zhou's company has helped 22 explore the Chinese market since 2018. This year, Zhou also brought with him a new brand – Maldonado, a family of four generations of skilled ham producers.
