The 2022 World Young Scientist Summit, an annual gathering of the world's top masterminds, opened in Wenzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 12.
The opening ceremony, held both on-site and online in domestic and foreign arenas, was attended by guests from some 30 countries and regions and from 102 international sci-tech organizations and societies.
Titled "Converging the World's Talents, Creating a Better Future", the summit invited attendees to share their insights into the basic science of promoting sustainable development and eyed segmented topics such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, basic science, original innovation, and youth and future.
