This new video series produced by the Wenzhou Overseas Media Center showcases the lives and career experiences of 10 entrepreneurs in Rui'an, a county-level city administered by Wenzhou.
The first episode features Ye Fangquan, an overseas returnee as well as the founder of a bed and breakfast in Yongle village, Huling town, Rui'an.
The birthplace of many overseas Chinese, Yongle village once had many idle houses and a sluggish economy.
On one visit back home, Ye was captivated by the well-preserved natural landscapes in the tranquil small village and decided to do his part to aid local development by transforming the old houses into a high-end rural homestay.
