The delegates of Wenzhou in East China's Zhejiang province submitted 211 proposals and motions at the province's two sessions, which concluded on Jan 16.

Deputies to the first session of the 14th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress submitted 158 motions, while members of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) submitted 53 proposals to the first session.

These Wenzhou delegates provided advice on technological innovation, business environment, transportation and educational development, environmental protection, and home-based elderly care.

The business environment reform and digital economic development mentioned in the provincial government work report this year were the focuses of the delegates.

Zhang Chunfang suggested that the province intelligentize administrative services and offer enterprises subsidies to improve the business environment, while Miao Xinhao advised establishing an authority in metaverse technical standards, improving the protection mechanism of intellectual property rights related to the metaverse, and building a flexible management system for the metaverse to promote the development of the metaverse industry.

Zeng Yanling's proposal is focused on the improvement of slow traffic in the urban area, public transport stations, and accessible facilities for crossing the street.

She also suggested developing a complete safe travel security system and traffic safety education system for children to help them avoid road injuries.
