A Lantern Festival cultural exchange event was held at the Wenzhou Overseas Media Center on the evening of Feb 5, local media outlets reported.
Nearly 100 participants were invited, including foreign anchors of the Wenzhou Overseas Media Center, overseas Chinese representatives, local residents, and international students.
The event showcased the beauty of China's traditional culture, such as Wenzhou-style boxing and lion dancing, and also staged foreign singing and dancing shows.
A variety of activities were held during the event, including making tangyuan, or glutinous rice balls, solving lantern riddles, creating calligraphy works, eating jujube cakes, and floating river lanterns.
