Chint New Energy Technology Co, a subsidiary of the Wenzhou-based industrial giant Chint Group, was recently honored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a leader in piloting intelligent photovoltaic projects.
Chint New Energy Technology Co specializes in manufacturing photovoltaic cell components. Established in 2006, the company was one of the first private businesses in China to enter the photovoltaic field.
The company aimed to become the most competitive supplier of photovoltaic components in the world and has focused on the research and development, production, and sales of high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cells and components.
The ASTRO series of high-efficiency components, focusing on large-size and single and double-sided features, can meet the needs of large ground power stations, commercial and industrial distributed power stations, and household power stations.
Chint New Energy's business covers more than 140 countries and regions around the world. It has set up smart manufacturing bases in places such as Haining in Zhejiang, Yancheng in Jiangsu, Jiuquan in Gansu, Songyuan in Jilin, and Thailand. It has also opened branches and sales centers in countries such as Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Singapore, Japan, and Thailand.
