An orienteering event entitled "Looking for Cultural Landmarks to Welcome the Asian Games" kicked off in Wenzhou's Lucheng district on March 16, local media outlets reported.
Some 200 runners started their journey from Mifang Creative Park and ran along the Oujiang River while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
The six-kilometer orienteering event included five cultural landmarks of the riverside area - Mifang Creative Park, the Oujiang River Dock, the Wenzhou City Balcony, Qite Snow Park, and the Ouyeah Football Club.
Along the way, participants collected stamps and experienced the the local culture of the riverside area through sports.
The event was held in preparation for the upcoming Asian Games and aimed to promote the rich culture and history of the riverside area.
Through this interactive activity, participants not only had the chance to exercise and enjoy the beauty of the area, but also learned about the cultural landmarks that make Wenzhou a unique destination.
