The 2023 Lucheng-Dongtou-Yueqing (Hangzhou) Cultural Tourism Week was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on March 18, offering up a feast of rich cultural tourist attractions from the three places and promoting Wenzhou's all-for-one tourism.

The cultural tourist attractions of Lucheng, Dongtou and Yueqing in Wenzhou all have distinct characteristics. The three places displayed their various resources such as key scenic spots, gourmet delicacies, intangible cultural heritage, handicrafts and homestays during the event.

The on-site exhibitions were divided into multiple sections including a fair, the intangible cultural heritage display, a food area, the check-in spot for online celebrities and a stage, creating a platform for cultural exchange.

Lucheng brought its local specialty foods; Dongtou exhibited cultural and creative derivatives with island characteristics such as shell carvings, tea sets and fishermen's paintings; Yueqing presented traditional handicrafts such as boxwood carvings and techniques of making lotus wheat cakes.

To further promote the recovery of Wenzhou's tourism market and attract more tourists, Lucheng, Dongtou and Yueqing jointly issued series of preferential policies during the event.

For example, Lucheng will reward travel agencies that organize tour groups from outside the city, Dongtou encourages the opening of special trains to tourist sources, while in Yueqing, Hangzhou citizens can visit Yandang Mountain Scenic Area for free before April 30.
