Sixteen intangible cultural heritage items donated by Yongjia county in East China's Wenzhou attracted the attention of visitors from Miami at the recently-concluded 32nd Annual Asian Culture Festival, local media outlets reported.

The exhibits, presented by 12 artisans, possessed high cultural and artistic value. They covered categories such as woodcarving, bamboo carving, Ou Kiln ceramics, silk sculpture, Wenzhou-style sculpture, clay sculpture, rice sculpture, and crochet work with embroidery.

"We hope to showcase the exquisite skills and outstanding traditional culture of Yongjia's intangible cultural heritage to the United States and the whole world through this activity," said Huang Sheng, president of the North American Committee of Asian.

The exhibits will also be displayed at the upcoming first New York Ouyue Cultural Festival.

In addition to Yongjia artworks, the festival featured food, handicrafts and paintings from Asian countries such as China, South Korea, Japan, and Vietnam.
