Some 30 students from more than 10 Asian countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan, embarked on an exploration of Wenzhou, a co-host city of the 19th Asian Games, on April 12.

The first stop was the Wenzhou Sports Center, one of the venues for the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games football matches. Its stadium was built in 1997 and has hosted many school sports meetings and large theatrical performances over the past 25 years.

The stadium has been upgraded to meet the needs of Asian Games football matches, with an intelligent grass maintenance system and liftable high-pole lamps installed.

At the Wuma Historical and Cultural Block, the students discovered that eye-catching English sign boards had been erected, creating a strong international atmosphere. Volunteers introduced the history and culture of Wuma street to the students in English.

The last stop was the Wenzhou Innovation Center, a newly-emerged digital economy industrial park in Wenzhou. By helping enterprises realize project cooperation, product innovation and technology upgrading, the center serves as an incubator for science and technology enterprises. The international students said that they could feel Wenzhou's strong vitality and its burgeoning development through the center.
