Wenzhou-Kean University launched its inaugural International Culture Festival on May 14, with a vibrant opening ceremony held at the South Square of the Student Learning and Activity Center.
The festival, entitled "Welcome the Asian Games, Together with WKU," drew the participation of university leaders, who expressed their heartfelt wishes and high hopes for the festival's success. Joining them were foreign teachers and students from local universities, as well as members of the community.
The primary objective of the festival was to foster interaction between diverse cultures and bring them closer together.

The opening ceremony dazzled guests with captivating performances, immersing them in a sensory feast of various cultural activities. Following the ceremony, the international cultural exhibits were unveiled, featuring 19 booths focusing on different cultures. Attendees had the chance to engage in a wide range of activities, such as making tacos, learning the intricacies of Chinese calligraphy, and crafting Nordic midsummer wreaths.
The festival provided a platform for cultural exchange, allowing individuals to broaden their horizons and embrace the rich tapestry of global diversity. By appreciating and celebrating different cultures, Wenzhou-Kean University aimed to strengthen connections and foster a sense of unity among its students, faculty, and the broader community.
