The Nanxi River Camping Festival, themed "Nature without Boundaries", kicked off on June 3 at the Nanxi River Beach Park in Yongjia county, Wenzhou in East China's Zhejiang province.

Many locals and camping enthusiasts gathered by the Nanxi River to indulge in food, photography and shopping and enjoy impromptu music and fire dancing while relaxing amidst the picturesque mountains and rivers.

This year's Nanxi River Camping Festival will last until June 11. The event will consist of bars, automobile shops, camping areas, markets, brand areas, art galleries and more.

People can bring their own camping equipment and go camping or explore the markets, where the lingering fragrance of Nanxi handmade beer and other delicacies like Nanxi grilled hotpot, barbecue, and ice cream are hard to resist.

This year's camping festival highlights environmental protection more than previous events. Visitors must make online reservations and sign the convention on environmental protection to promote a tourism trend of respecting the environment, alongside green travel and camping.

In recent years, Yongjia has focused on camping, food, performances, and cultural creativity, combining rural landscapes with music and art.
