Lighting facilities are essential for residents to travel at night and they are also part of a city's scenery. As a co-host city of the forthcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou, Wenzhou is being made more glamorous with beautiful night views.

The most prominent lighting project for the Games in the city is the 80,000-square meter Blooming Flowers in Wenzhou, which uses 90,000 camellias to piece together a Wenzhou map.

On June 5, experts were invited to walk along Ouhai Road in Longwan district to inspect local lighting facilities and night views and offer advice.

Along the Ouhai Road, some of the outside walls and green belts are decorated with starry lights, but some are not so bright. Sanyang Wetland Park and Huangshi Mountain Park are important sites for Longwan's night landscape, but with no lights on, they look quite dark at night.

The first stop for many foreign guests to enter Wenzhou, Wenzhou Longwan International Airport is crucial for their first impression of the city. Although sufficiently bright at night, experts still believe that more improvements should be made to soften and brighten the illuminations.

They also suggested that the lighting facilities can also employ Hangzhou Asian Games colors and elements to create a strong atmosphere for the Games.
