As the weather gradually cools, the busy season for seaweed farming has arrived in Yueqing, a county-level city administered by Wenzhou, a coastal city in East China's Zhejiang province.

Across the vast expanses of the sea, rows of bamboo poles can be seen neatly arranged on the shallow shores, supporting the cultivation nets strung together with ropes containing seaweed sprouts. The seascape resembles a bustling ocean vegetable garden.

The people of Yueqing have been seaweed farming for over 50 years, and the industry thrives today due to the region's exceptional geographic advantages, as well as efforts to improve the marine ecological landscape.
