Wenzhou, a city in East China’s Zhejiang province, is hosting two major events, football and dragon boat racing, during this year's Asian Games.

As a result, significant upgrades have been made around the Games venues, improving the city's environment and delivering benefits for the people.

Wenzhou South Railway Station serves as the first stop for tourists and athletes around the world coming to Wenzhou. Its east square, adjoining the Station, has undergone a number of beautification projects. Blending in natural aesthetics, the station features elements including garden scenery, vibrant floral arrangements, small elegant islands, and spacious waterside grass slopes, revealing Wenzhou's culture of integrity and strengthening the Asian Games atmosphere.

Longwan Asian Games Culture Park was transformed from an industrial brownfield into a sports-themed park. It offers various sports facilities suitable for residents of all ages, including equipment for skateboarding and rock climbing.

Longxiang Lake Park, a few hundred steps from the Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center, is hosting a lotus flower exhibition in celebration of the Games. Extensive lotus ponds were divided into two sections in the north and south of the park as lotuses bloom. In addition to the exhibition, the park also runs Games-themed floral displays, public welfare markets with free distribution of lotuses and potted plants to visitors.

Beyond impressive outdoor construction, the Wenzhou Dragon Boat Sports Center features a museum showcasing over 300 exhibits related to dragon boat culture. While displaying artifacts like ancient dragon boats, drums and paddles, the museum utilizes advanced technologies to create an immersive racing experience and portrays the richness of dragon boat culture.
