The torch relay for the Hangzhou Asian Games reached its eighth leg – Wenzhou – today!
Spanning a distance of 9.2 kilometers, the relay route took participants on a memorable journey, starting at Songtai Square, passing through landmarks such as Xinhe Street, Wuma Street, Gongyuan Road, Huancheng East Road, and Oujiang Road and culminating at City Balcony.
This leg of the relay featured a diverse group of 170 torchbearers, among them are athletes, coaches, local business representatives.
Continuing its journey, the torch will make stops at Lishui, Jinhua, and Quzhou, before ultimately completing its final leg by returning to Hangzhou on Sept 20.
