In Taishun county of Wenzhou, a coffee house built in a rice field has become a sensation, attracting over 40,000 visitors during the National Day holiday.

The coffee house, named Lan's Coffee, was founded by a young couple in their 20s. Prior to this hit, the couple opened a popular beverage shop in another village, serving coffee, desserts, and local tea. The beverage shop, like the coffee house, quickly became an internet-famous tourist destination.

Captivating videos about the coffee house were shot by staff, mostly native younglings, and shared on platforms like Douyin and WeChat before the shop opened, drawing in visitors from near and far. Tourists were enchanted by the picturesque blend of rice fields and coffee against the backdrop of azure skies and billowing clouds.

Yayang town, where the coffeehouse is located, has been actively fostering integration between agriculture and tourism, luring young entrepreneurs back to their roots and propelling the local tourism industry forward. Before the coffee shop's grand opening, various measures were taken to support young entrepreneurs, such as repurposing idle farmhouses and constructing parking facilities.
