As autumn arrives, Wenzhou is filled with the sweet scent of osmanthus blossoms, and an "osmanthus viewing route" was drawn to guide residents and visitors.

Osmanthus season in Wenzhou lasts 15 to 20 days, coinciding with the pleasant autumn air.

Home to 1,500 osmanthus trees, with 377 varieties of sweet-scented osmanthus, Yangfu Mountain Park is filled with an overwhelming fragrance.

Early blooms decorate Cuiwei Mountain Park thanks to its mountainous terrain, along with 20 osmanthus trees that greet visitors at the square and uphill paths inside the entrance of Xiancao Valley.

For the ultimate osmanthus viewing experience, visitors are encouraged to visit in the morning and evening, when the flowers are at their fullest. Midday is perfect for simply savoring the intense fragrance.

Osmanthus, or sweet olive, is not only ornamental for its use in culinary and medicinal applications, including tea, liquor, pastries, and medicinal dishes, but is also a source of fragrance for cosmetics and soap, and offers medicinal properties like stomach comforting, kidney nourishment, cold relief, and cough soothing.
