President Zhou Wenlong and Vice-president Sun Furong of Wenzhou University of Technology (WZUT) attended the special session on regional cooperation of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation Summit on Oct 18 in Beijing.
During the event, WZUT signed a general agreement on academic cooperation with Lac Hong University in Vietnam.
The university has been actively fostering educational exchanges and collaborations with countries participating in the Belt and Road initiative.
During the 2023 China (Zhejiang) Lancang-Mekong Cooperation and Development Forum organized by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province in April, WZUT, in partnership with universities and businesses from Lancang-Mekong countries, proposed the establishment of the Lancang-Mekong Countries Entrepreneurship Education Association.
The inaugural conference of the association is being held at WZUT from Oct 19 to 21 and features discussions on entrepreneurship education, academic exchanges, industry-academia cooperation agreements, and the international education cooperation roundtable involving Lancang-Mekong countries.
