The Dragon Boat Culture Museum in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province has recently reopened to the public, drawing many visitors.

The Dragon Boat Sports Center, where the museum located, was the host venue for the dragon boat competition during the 19th Asian Games. Before and after the Games, the museum welcomed numerous officials, referees, athletes, and spectators from various countries. Due to the management needs of dragon boat events, the museum within temporarily closed its doors to the public.

Following the conclusion of the dragon boat events, the museum's staff made adjustments and upgrades to parts of the exhibition hall. They organized and curated materials and items related to the dragon boat events and introduced a new section called "Asian Games Memories" within the museum.

The new section features videos and on-site images from the dragon boat races, mascots, the torch, signature t-shirts and paddles from the championship teams in the dragon boat competition. These additions aim to offer a richer experience of the history and culture of dragon boating to visitors.

Wen Xian, a staff member responsible for museum tours, said that since the museum's reopening, it has been open daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a continuous flow of visitors.

The museum can accommodate up to 300 visitors at a time, with a maximum daily capacity of 800 people, according to Wen.

Visitors have the option to enter for free by scanning a QR code via WeChat on-site. Additionally, they can make advance reservations for guided group tours of the dragon boat museum via phone.

Since officially opening to the public in mid-June, the museum has welcomed more than 70,000 visitors, with over 500 group tours scheduled.
