On Nov 5, over a dozen of renowned artists from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka embarked on a creative journey in Yueqing, a county-level city under the administration of Wenzhou, experiencing its exquisite fine-grained paper cutting, admiring the beauty of Yandang Mountain, and more importantly, fostering cultural and artistic exchanges.
This event coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and promotes cross-cultural collaboration.

Wenzhou, self-labeled as the "millennium commercial port," is actively involved in international cultural exchanges. The concept of this event, connecting nations and regions alongside the silk road through arts, emerged in this background in 2023. The event enables Asian artists to explore Wenzhou's natural and cultural treasures, including the inspiring Yandang Mountain. The mountain, acclaimed as the "top mountain in Southeast China," has served as a wellspring of creativity for artists old and new. They also delved into Yueqing's unique fine-grained paper cutting, which is known for its delicateness and exquisiteness.
