Qiaoxia's educational toy products command a substantial 60 percent domestic market share and an impressive 30 percent in international markets, according to a report by China Central Television in February 2023. Since the 1970s, the town has undergone many stages of development, having given rise to over 1,300 enterprises and provided employment for over 20,000 people, while maintaining a consistent 10 percent annual industrial growth rate.
Qiaoxia's history, rooted in Wenzhou traditions, aligns seamlessly with its flourishing commerce. The town strategically embraces platforms like China Educational Toy International City and Educational Toy Incubation Park, driving trends in the domestic educational toy sector.

Beyond its economic success, the town is a pioneer in using livestreaming and e-commerce initiatives to promote online sales. Hanbu, a renowned educational toy village in Qiaoxia town, exemplifies this transition with an office building which has been transformed into a shared livestreaming room, nurturing talent in e-commerce and hosting.
