China Resources C'Estbon Food and Beverage Shenzhen Co Ltd is set to build a bottled water manufacturing base in Wencheng county, Wenzhou.
The base is anticipated to commence operations in November 2025. After completion, the county will be the source of nearly 1 million tons' bottled water annually.
The production base spans 9.4 hectares, or 141 mu, envisioning a three-line investment for purified and natural water. With a swift seven-month process from the signing ceremony in April to the land transfer agreement in November, the project showcases the efficiency of both the CR Cestbon and local authority.
Scheduled to break ground in June 2024, the construction project is poised to contribute an annual value of approximately 500 million yuan ($70.37 million) , generating around 100 job opportunities.
The project's landing is expected to bolster the use of water resources in the county, fostering employment and stimulating regional economic growth. As of 2025, the public can anticipate sipping bottled water delivered by Wenzhou.
