The recently concluded 50th Hong Kong Toy & Game Fair witnessed remarkable success for Wenzhou enterprises, with a total of 24 companies participating and achieving an intended turnover of more than 10 million yuan on-site.
As the largest in Asia and the second-largest international toy trade exhibition in the world, the Hong Kong Toy & Game Fair provided a significant platform for Wenzhou businesses.
Wenzhou Qiaohouer Amusement Equipment Co Ltd, a first-time participant, capitalized on the opportunity to gain a new direction for product development at the fair.
"After the exhibition, we started to send some samples and quotations to the customers. During the negotiation process, they expressed their intent to come to Wenzhou to cooperate with us further," stated Xue Yiming, a key figure in the company. He added that customer requirements are constantly evolving, leading them to make corresponding innovations in their products.
In addition to the recent success in Hong Kong, Wenzhou enterprises have continually explored the global market via various exhibitions.
A Wenzhou business delegation recently attended both the Barcelona Clothing Fair and the Wenzhou-Barcelona Economic and Trade Cooperation Docking Meeting. Looking ahead, more than 200 eyewear enterprises will participate in the Milan International Optical Eyewear Exhibition in February. It is further expected that nearly 500 enterprises will participate in exhibitions overseas during the first quarter of this year.
