November 2014 marked the inclusion of the craftsmanship of jewelry dragons in the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage items. With a history of over 400 years, this traditional folk art form from Yueqing involves complex woodworking, painting, and carving techniques. These intricate dragons, with their detailed scenes depicting traditional occupations, evoke vivid imagery reminiscent of folk customs.
