The end of the Spring Festival marked the start of various industry exhibitions. Many Wenzhou firms have been preparing for the upcoming major expos.
One of them is the 30th China International Exhibition on Packaging Machinery & Materials in Guangzhou, a wind vane of the packaging industry, which is being held from March 4 to 6. It covers an area of 150,000 square meters and has attracted industry elites and leading brands.
"This is also the first domestic packaging expo after the Spring Festival," stated Wu Chaowu, chairman of Zhejiang Rihao Intelligent Machinery Co Ltd and head of the Intelligent Equipment (Packaging Machinery) Industry Valley.
This year, nine industrial chain firms led by the Industry Valley launched the Wenzhou Packaging Intelligent Manufacturing Joint Exhibition Area, displaying the latest products and technologies in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and intelligent packaging industries.
Another industry expo that Wenzhou pet products firms are aiming at is the 11th Shenzhen Pet Fair and Global Pet Industry Cross-border E-commerce Trade Fair from March 14 to 17. It covers more than 80,000 square meters and hosts dozens of activities. It is the first expo to be held for China's pet industry after the Spring Festival.
At least 20 pet food, product and industrial chain firms from Wenzhou will take part in the Shenzhen Pet Fair. They hope to use the platform to receive orders and get the year off to a good start.
