As International Women's Day approaches on March 8, Wenzhou's cultural and tourism authorities, along with several scenic spots, have announced extended celebrations and attractive discounts for female visitors.
From March 8 to 10, several popular spots, including Yandang Mountain and Zhongyandang Scenic Area, will offer female tourists a 50 percent discount on entry tickets. Male companions accompanying female visitors can also enjoy this discount on a 1:1 basis. Additionally, female visitors born in the year of the Dragon will be granted free admission upon presenting valid identification.
On International Women's Day, Nanxi River will offer free admission to female tourists at its nine scenic spots, while male tourists will enjoy a 50 percent discount on tickets.
From March 6 to 8, Dongtou State-owned A-level scenic spots, including Wanghailou Scenic Area, Xiandieyan Scenic Area, and Banpingshan Scenic Area, will be open to female tourists nationwide free of charge, and accompanying visitors will also enjoy a 50 percent discount.
Other attractions like the Taishun Nanpuxi Scenic Area will offer female tourists half-price tickets for the scenic area and high-altitude drifting from March 4 to 11.
Beyond discounted entry, Pingyang is organizing various cultural and team-building activities for Women's Day, ranging from tea art and flower arrangement classes to DIY workshops and knitting sessions.
Furthermore, numerous hotels, homestays, and theme parks in the city are offering special packages for female visitors and couples.
