Intl students explore Wenzhou's business landscape

A group of 18 MBA students from Kean University in the United States, along with six MBA students from Wenzhou-Kean University, embarked on a study tour of Wenzhou from March 10-14.

Their journey began with visits to Yantou town in Yongjia and the Shiweiyan Scenic Area in Hesheng town, where they enjoyed boat rides marveled at the blend of ancient culture and modern development. Dave Farrokh, assistant dean of the College of Business and Public Management at Kean University, expressed delight at the unique charm of Wenzhou's landscapes.

In addition to sightseeing, the group gained insights into industry advancements by visiting six local private enterprises. These visits provided valuable learning opportunities and fostered discussions on potential university-enterprise collaborations.

At Huafon Group, discussions revolved around the company's growth trajectory and global market strategies. Participant Anthony Bogash stated, "Companies in the US and China have many similarities in management, and establishing deeper exchanges and cooperation between companies from the two countries will help promote common development."

Visits to Josiny Group's international trend laboratory and Delixi Electric's exhibition experience center left the students with a strong impression regarding manufacturing and new technologies.

Tobin Porterfield, dean of the College of Business and Public Management at Wenzhou-Kean University, expressed appreciation for the visit, stating that it provided a comprehensive understanding of how Chinese factories operate and valuable insights into maintaining competitive relationships, customer relations, and employee cultivation within private enterprises.
