Wenzhou, known for its vibrant business landscape, is making significant strides in global trade. With government backing, over 400 local enterprises have participated in 35 overseas exhibitions so far this year, accumulating over $270 million in intended orders by February's end.
Rui'an, famed as the capital of auto parts in China, serves over 100 domestic automotive manufacturers and exports its products to more than 160 countries. Recently, 21 companies from Rui'an showcased products in Algeria, eyeing new markets.
Rui'an will host the 2024 China-Rui'an Auto Parts (Iran) Exhibition in June, showcasing the comprehensive strength of its auto parts industry.
Similarly, Pingyang has seen 70 companies participate in 21 overseas exhibitions so far this year, securing $19.6 million in orders. The city’s companies aim to explore the Eastern European and Central Asian markets.
Wenzhou, meanwhile, aims to mobilize 500 enterprises to participate in over 40 market expansion activities in the first quarter, hoping to receive more than $400 million in orders. The city is also actively striving to secure more booths at the Canton Fair.
Wenzhou aims to engage over 2,000 foreign trade enterprises in more than 200 market expansion activities throughout the year and surpass $2 billion in intended orders in an effort to reaffirm its position as a dynamic player in the global trade arena.
