Wenzhou Longwan International Airport has unveiled its plans for the upcoming 2024 summer-autumn flight season, scheduled to run from March 31 to Oct 26. During this period, the airport aims to operate an average of 2,546 passenger flights per week, equating to around 364 flights daily.

In the new flight season, the airport will establish air express routes connecting Wenzhou with key cities like Beijing, Guiyang, and Guangzhou, ensuring a minimum of 11 outbound flights per day with evenly distributed schedules.

Additionally, popular routes to destinations such as Chongqing, Kunming, and Shenzhen will see increased frequency, alongside maintaining high-frequency flights to sought-after summer tourist spots like Qingdao, Dalian, Sanya, and Lijiang.

Notably, compared to the previous season, the airport will introduce or resume services to several destinations including Huizhou, Xiamen, Yanji, Baotou, Datong, Zhangye, Qianjiang, and Yangzhou. Among these, Xiamen, Yanji, and Baotou are newly added destinations.

Flights to Xiamen, for example, will operate daily, departing from Wenzhou at 3:00 pm and arriving at 4:20 pm. Return flights will then depart from Xiamen at 6:35 pm and arrive in Wenzhou at 7:50 pm.

During the upcoming flight season, the airport will continue to serve international destinations such as Rome, Milan, Madrid, Bangkok, and Seoul, as well as Hong Kong and Macao.
