The Global Trade Port, established on March 21, stands as southern Zhejiang and northern Fujian's largest shoe material trading market and is poised to drive industrial growth.
Located at No 456 Wenjin Road, Shuangyu sub-district, Lucheng district, the port is pivotal to Wenzhou's shoe industry, propelling its evolution from a national to global leader.
The Global Trade Port has received a staggering 2 billion yuan ($276.69 million) in investment from Kangnai Group Co Ltd and spans 140,000 square meters, making it the largest market within the national market procurement trade mode pilot.
Tailored to the shoe material industry's needs, its design includes features like 5-meter-high store spaces for ample sample displays and open street layouts for better ventilation.
The port boasts impressive occupancy rates, with over 800 merchants already settled in. They are involved in all aspects of shoe material and production services, including fabrics, accessories, design, and intellectual property protection.
Additionally, the port offers ancillary facilities such as hotels, foreign trade service bases, and financial service centers.
