Wenzhou Longwan International Airport has recently inaugurated a convenient payment high-quality service area, specifically designed to cater to the needs of international travelers. This initiative is part of Zhejiang province's efforts to create a diversified payment service system.

The service area, located in the T1 International Terminal, is equipped with foreign currency exchange machines and ATMs compatible with international bank cards. It aims to simplify the payment process for visitors from abroad, offering assistance with mobile payment setup and cash withdrawals.

Eli (alias), a visitor from the United States, successfully withdrew cash using his foreign bank card with the help of airport staff. He expressed appreciation for the advanced mobile payment options in China but noted the challenges foreigners face in using them due to unfamiliarity with their operation. The staff introduced him to mobile payment apps like Alipay and provided guidance on linking his international card.

The service area ensures that all merchants accept various payment methods, including international cards, digital RMB, and cash payments. It also offers self-service exchange for 22 currencies and cash withdrawal services for mainstream international cards, making transactions seamless for international travelers.

The airport's commitment to inclusivity in payment services addresses the difficulties international visitors often encounter when trying to spend money. With the goal of enhancing the overall consumer experience, Wenzhou airport continues to prioritize genuine service and passenger satisfaction, striving to provide high-quality services that meet the diverse needs of its travelers.
